We’ll also hear how integrative medicine combines the use of conventional medicine with natural therapies and emphasis on prevention as well as the importance of nutrition as a component of a healthy lifestyle and how dietary choices influence health.

World-renowned leader and pioneer in the field of integrative medicine, Andrew Weil, MD is the founder and director of the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, where he is a clinical professor of medicine and professor of public health. Dr. Weil is the author of 15 books on health and wellbeing, including Fast Food, Good Food; and True Food: Seasonal, Sustainable, Simple, Pure. He is also a founder and partner in the family of True Food Kitchen restaurants.
Diana Weil CNS, MS specializes in integrative and holistic nutrition. She has a Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health with a focus on clinical nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health. She’s a certified Integrative and Holistic Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as well as a certified yoga instructor.
