Abbey Whatley serves as the Grants and Communications Administrator at Ardmore Institute of Health (AIH), where she manages the foundation’s grantmaking process and oversees the creation and distribution of impactful, evidence-based communications. Abbey serves as the Managing Editor of AIH’s Whole Health Digest, a monthly newsletter that curates practical tools for advancing whole health. 

Prior to joining AIH in early 2024, Abbey facilitated fundraising campaigns to enhance the quality of life for individuals with brain injuries at the LoveYourBrain Foundation. She also managed marketing campaigns at The Public Good Projects, supporting the dissemination of important public health messages to target populations.

Abbey holds a Bachelor’s in International Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she competed as a Division I beach volleyball player. Abbey enjoys soaking up the Tampa sun, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Bean.
