AAFP Scaling Whole Health Strategies in Primary Care Action Brief
In November 2025, the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) hosted the Scaling Whole Health Strategies in Primary Care Summit in Alexandria, VA, with grant support from Ardmore Institute of Health and Healing Works Foundation.
“The rich insights and candid discussions of summit participants—physicians, researchers, policy leaders, community partners, and system innovators—strengthened the collective understanding of what it will take to advance whole health and person-centered care nationwide.”
As a result, AAFP created the Scaling Whole Health Strategies in Primary Care Action Brief, providing a strategic roadmap for scaling whole health strategies within primary care settings.
